The 4100 is similar to the Pro 1000 in that it includes a two-minute timer with quadrant pacing and a pressure sensor, and it is neither overpriced nor filled with unnecessary bells and whistles.

The 4100 is quieter than the Pro 1000. Still, it also has a smaller and more costly selection of brush heads, and it stops working completely after two minutes of brushing (instead of continuing the cycle, as the Pro 1000 does).

With basic, practical features like a pressure sensor and timer, the 4100 has been around for a while and is just as comfortable, easy to use, and effective as more costly versions.

Even though the Philips Sonicare 4100 lacks the bells and whistles of more expensive models, sometimes you don't need all the bells and whistles. The Phillips only has one brushing set but comes with two different intensity levels: low and high.

We found the Oral-B iO Series 9 the most impressive smart toothbrush since its accompanying app provided reliable and instructive feedback throughout our testing. The brush is a stylish metal device with a vivid LCD.

It boasts seven distinct modes—the most of any toothbrush we tested—along with the usual pressure sensor indicator and a two-minute timer. The seven settings are daily, extremely clean, whitening, gum care, sensitive, ultra-sensitive, and tongue clean.

The toothbrush's vibration was ideal; it could get into even the smallest gaps between our teeth. After using it for a long time, the bristles were still in great shape, and the toothbrush left us with a fresh, clean mouth and sparkling teeth. However, Brightline allows you to control the brightness to your preference.
